Here goes another 5 stars (seems like all this place gets) First I loooooooove southern Indian food. We are from Richmond, so maybe this is super common in Roanoke. Iβm not sure. But Iβm so happy to have it to try. And it did not disappoint And it did not disappoint! Dosas are the best! And they have a bunch of different southern Indian delicacies along with Indian sodas (also delicious! You should try). The woman working was so sweet. So accommodating to anyone whoβs first time it was. They have a nice little spot right off the road. Quiet. A nice little covered area so you can sit outside and enjoy. All the tables and chairs are bright and there are little flowers everywhere. A great place for kids or dogs or larger groups.

The wait is torture because the cooking food smells so damn good!! And with very good reason! To be fair I love dosa and gobi Manchurian SO much that Iβve never had a bad one. But Iβve also never had such a good ones as from here!! Amazing super crispy Gobi so well cooked that the insides are light and fluffy, tangy sauce clings to every nook and crannyβ¦ And her best seller is the dosa and I can see why! Crispy with shards shattering in my hand but not greasy and so delicate in flavor filled with gently spiced potatoes cooked all the way through where the taste of the curry leaves is gentle and present The carrot apple and ginger juice was well balanced and nourishingβ¦ Canβt wait to return

Absolutely delicious food in a beautiful location! We enjoyed sitting outside eating our food. Extremely flavorful dishes. We tried the cheese masala dosa, pani puri, masala idli, and mirchi bajji. I highly recommend it all! We will be back.

Sudhaβs Kitchen is honestly something special in Roanoke. Itβs the only Indian restaurant here that truly feels authentic. It's the kind of food you rarely get to experience unless itβs home-cooked. Their tagline, βa taste of home,β couldnβt be more accurate. We ordered the Rava Masala Dosa and the Mysore Masala Dosa, and both were incredible. They were crispy, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch. You can really taste the difference in the ingredients and the care that goes into each dish. We paired everything with a Masala Chai and a Mango Lassi both of which were delicious and to finish, we had Gulab Jamun, and it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. What made the experience even more memorable was getting to spend time talking with Sudha and her husband, Suresh. We ended up chatting with them for nearly an hour, learning about their story, their cooking, and the inspiration behind the restaurant. You can truly feel the passion they have for sharing their food and culture. They even offered us samples of Pani Puri and Dahi Puri, which were amazing and such a thoughtful touch. This isnβt just a place to eat, itβs an experience that feels personal and genuine, with ama

My wife and I stopped by here on a whim when we saw it driving by. We're really glad we did. We got the vegetable biracial and it was delicious. The price was reasonable and the portions were good. The service was fast too. The owner was very friendly and was taking the time to describe what several of the meals included to a couple that was unfamiliar with Indian food. We will definitely return.
